This season of the Junior Hurricanes Southwest New Territory Recreational Program (JH SW) will be a special World Cup Edition to celebrate the 2026 World Cup coming to the USA in June!
JH SW NT OVERVIEW
- This season will be a special World Cup Edition to celebrate the 2026 World Cup coming to the USA in June!
- Your team will play in the World Cup Final and have a chance of lifting the World Cup Trophy.
- 10 Thursday practices and 8 Saturday games - February 19th to May 16th
- Birth years 2021 & 2020 (U5-U6) - 5:30-6:30 PM (Games 3v3)
- Birth years 2019 & 2018 (U7-U8) - 5:30-6:30PM or 6:30-7:30 PM (Games 4v4)
- Birth years 2017 & 2016 (U9-U10) – 6:30-7:30PM or 7:30- 8:30 PM (Games 5v5 with a Goalkeeper)
- Games Saturdays between 9:00AM-12 Noon; 1-hour games
- Practices and games will be at 5350 New Territory Blvd, Sugar Land, TX 77479
- Cost per player is Early Bird $140 (Ends January 12th 2026) & Regular $165 (starts 13th January 2026) & $195 late registration (begins March 9th 2026)
- Cost includes practices, games, referees and staffing
- Jerseys (maroon and gray) come in pairs and must be purchased before the season. Jerseys from previous seasons may be worn. The Home Team wears gray, and Away Team wears maroon.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
Games are coached, refereed and overseen by Jr. Hurricanes staff. However, we require volunteers to help substitute players in, give equal playing time to each player and to be a positive influence on the sidelines. We need a minimum of TWO VOLUNTEERS PER TEAM. Please make this request at registration.
FRIEND REQUESTS
- U5-U6 age group – 7 players per team (6 friend requests)
- U7-U8 age group – 9 players per team (8 friend requests)
- U9-U10 age group – 11 players per team (10 friend requests)
- U11-U12 age group - 14 players per team (13 friend requests)
*Friend requests must be made at time of registration in the player request section and reciprocated by all parties. If friend requests include players in different age groups (e.g. U7-8 & U9-10), younger players would need to play up, we do not allow older players to play down an age group.
