This season of the Junior Hurricanes Central Recreational Program (JH CR) will be a special World Cup Edition to celebrate the 2026 World Cup coming to the USA in June!
JH CR OVERVIEW
- This season will be a special World Cup Edition to celebrate the 2026 World Cup coming to the USA in June!
- Your team will play in the World Cup Final and have a chance of lifting the World Cup Trophy.
- 10 practices and 8 games February 27th to May 17th
- Birth years 2021 & 2020 (U5-U6) - 5:30-6:30 PM (Games 3v3)
- Birth years 2019 & 2018 (U7-U8) - 6:30 PM-7:30 PM (Games 4v4) (Week 3-10 possible 5:30-6:30PM time slot for some teams)
- Birth years 2017 & 2016 (U9-U10) – 7:30- 8:30 PM (Games 5v5 with a Goalkeeper) (Week 3-10 possible 6:30-7:30PM time slot for some teams)
- Games Sundays between 1:00-5:45 PM; 1-hour games
- Friday practices will be at 3601 Campbell Road, 77080
- Sunday games will be at 3911 Campbell Road, 77080
- Cost per player is Early Bird $225 & Regular $250 (starts 13th January 2026) which includes practices, games, uniform, referees and staffing; $35 late registration fee starts March 9th

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
Games are coached, refereed and overseen by Jr. Hurricanes staff. However, we require volunteers to help substitute players in, give equal playing time to each player and to be a positive influence on the sidelines. We need a minimum of TWO VOLUNTEERS PER TEAM. Please make this request at registration.
FRIEND REQUESTS
- U5-U6 age group – 7 players per team (6 friend requests)
- U7-U8 age group – 9 players per team (8 friend requests)
- U9-U10 age group – 11 players per team (10 friend requests)
*Friend requests must be made at time of registration in the player request section and reciprocated by all parties. If friend requests include players in different age groups (e.g. U7-8 & U9-10), younger players would need to play up, we do not allow older players to play down an age group.
