Tony was inducted into the North Carolina Soccer Hall of Fame in 1999. He was also voted UNC Chapel Hill's top 11 all time players. Tony was elected All-Conference, All-Region and All-State during his four high school years. He was also named All-South two years, All-Atlantic Coast Conference three years and set the all time scoring record for the school.
Professionally, Tony played for the Pennsylvania Stoners (voted MVP), New York Arrows, Houston Dynamos (USL All-Star), Columbus Capitals and the Memphis Storm. At the Olympic sports Festival, Tony won a gold medal playing on the South team and was elected to the All-Tournament Team.
Tony's experience as a player and a coach allows Albion Hurricanes FC Players to experience soccer through a person who has achieved national status.
