HISTORY

Albion Hurricanes FC (AHFC) was formed with around 250 players in 2000 after a merger of Albion Youth FC (Est. 1996 Spring Branch) and Hurricanes Soccer Club (Est. 1989 Bear Creek).

Milestone Timeline

  • 1989 – Hurricanes Soccer Club Established
  • 1996 – Albion Youth FC Established
  • 2000 – Albion Hurricanes FC formed (AHFC) - 250 players
  • 2003 – Junior Hurricanes Recreational Program established
  • 2009 – AHFC establishes West Campus at Katy Park
  • 2012 – AHFC enters into agreement with City of Houston to develop soccer fields at Cullen Park
  • 2012 – AHFC joins the Girls ECNL National Platform
  • 2013 – AHFC develops 2 Fully lighted and irrigated soccer fields at Cullen Park
  • 2014 – AHFC establishes Northwest (Cy-Fair) Program at Schiel Road
  • 2015 – AHFC establishes Southwest (New Territory) at New Territory Sports Complex
  • 2015 – AHFC purchases a 15 acre site at 3601 Campbell Road, Houston, TX 77080
  • 2015 – AHFC joins the United Soccer Clubs League (USC) as a founder member
  • 2016 – AHFC develops a Premium Soccer Facility (Campbell Road Sports Park)
  • 2017 – AHFC joins the Boys ECNL National Platform as founder member
  • 2017 – AHFC forms the Men’s and Women’s franchise AHFC Royals
  • 2018 – AHFC Royals Men’s franchise joins USL2 (formerly PDL)
  • 2018 – AHFC Royals Women’s franchise joins WPSL
  • 2020 – AHFC joins the Girls ECNL Regional League Platform as founder member
  • 2020 – AHFC establishes the 5v5 Small Sided Soccer League (SSDL)
  • 2020 – AHFC Royals accepted into the USL Academy Program
  • 2021 – AHFC Joins the Boys ECNL Regional League Platform as founder member
  • 2021 – AHFC Royals USL Academy Program League Format commences
  • 2022 – AHFC Royals Women: Texas Conference Champions; National quarter finals
  • 2023 – AHFC Royals Women: Texas Conference Champions; National quarter finals
  • 2023 – AHFC Royals Men: Texas Conference Champions; National quarter final
  • 2023 – AHFC establishes Golden Triangle Program in Beaumont
