Itzel Guajardo (95G Blue) Represents Mexican National Team!

AHFC is proud to have 1 of it's own represent on the International stage over the Holidays,

"My experience in Mexico was a really breathtaking experience, something new for me.
Having the opportunity to interact with a lot of different other girls, from different places
was amazing.

I thank God for an amazing opportunity. I wouldn't trade it. I also thank all the
Albion Hurricanes coaches and staff.

They have made me improve in a lot of ways. I also
am very thankful to have met a great person with a great heart like Steve Tholen, our
teams Manager, as well as a great trainer Kahlil Mathura.

I was extremely nervous during the whole camp, because I just couldn't sink in the
fact that I was actually in Mexico, with a national team. I believe this experience has
made me a stronger person and it has made me want to improve in order to become
a better player in the fields and to try to become a better person outside the fields." Itzel states

Reading Pro Soccer Camps retruned to AHFC this past July for it's 4th year!

Over 170 AHFC players enjoyed another great pre season with Reading's professional coaching staff, consisting of Chris Sweetman & Gary Webb.

"AHFC greatly appreciates our partnership with a first class English Professional Club such as Reading FC. The staff do a great job with our players & are extremely professional in everything they do" (Mark Horton, AHFC GM)

“I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Albion Hurricanes for hosting us and for making us feel so welcome.  The players were a pleasure to work with and there are clearly some very talented individuals who have bright futures ahead of them.

The staff at Albion Hurricanes were also fantastic and the partnership is incredibly beneficial for both clubs as we share best practices in the quest to produce the best possible players.

We would like to wish all at AHFC the very best for the rest of the season, we will be keeping a close eye on your progress and thank you again.” (Gary Webb – Reading FC)

The Reading Pro Soccer Camp is just part of our partnership which also includes overseas player opportunities. John Schroeder (97’s) & Fraser Kidd (98’s) enjoyed a week’s intensive training @ Reading FC this past week (August 6-13th)

"Guys,

I just wanted to drop a quick note on behalf of Fraser to express our gratitude for the generous hospitality he received with Lee and  Reading FC. He came back full of high spirits and enthusiasm for the experience which was positive in so many ways and at so many levels.

Not only will his technical skills benefit from the exposure to different age groups and styles of coaching, but he also got a taste for a professional footballers life and a better understanding of what is required to be successful.

He also grew a couple of inches and put on a few pounds ( I think it was the lucozade drinks and curried chips).

Anyway- thanks to Mark/Brian for putting Fraser's name forward and I know he is eager to positively contribute to the fortunes of the 98B team in the new season.

thanks again.

Gavin and Lesley Kidd"
