Albion Hurricanes FC (AHFC) is proud to announce Memorial Hermann as its official healthcare provider. Memorial Hermann is known for world-class clinical expertise, patient-centric care, leading edge technology, and innovation. Memorial Hermann is also leading the way in sport medical treatment, enhancement, and education.
Memorial Hermann will serve as the preferred medical provider for all AHFC participants and their families, providing benefits such as:
ER Card. Emergency Room Partner card for athletic injuries will be available through Memorial Hermann Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation services. In addition, Memorial Hermann athletic trainers will attend select games and tournaments in the event that a player needs on-site medical attention.
Sports VIP. Sports VIP provides access to the Memorial Hermann Memorial City strength & conditioning, speed, agility, and quickness programs (SAQ), and a reduced rate for the Human Performance Testing (provided by the Memorial Hermann Sports Medicine / MHSM”) menu of services. Additionally, athletic training services will be made available at club events as needed or agreed upon (injury clinics and actual game or practice coverage).
Education Events. Players and parents will have opportunities to attend seminars conducted by Memorial Hermann trained professionals. Topics could include injury prevention, nutrition and sports supplements, burnout and overtraining, physiology of soccer exercise and more.
Off-Season Conditioning. The primary goal of an off-season program is to enhance overall conditioning and to work on those areas where you fall short. Learn how you may increase the difficultly or enhance the program for older or more advanced athletes.
