AHFC GOALKEEPER ACADEMY MISSION

The AHFC Goalkeeper Academy will create an environment where goalkeepers learn the specifics of goalkeeping technique, including footwork and handling, as well as tactical understanding, including commanding the box, dead ball situations, and starting the attack. The properly trained AHFC Goalkeeper will affect the game through consistency of execution, leadership, communication, and confidence.

The AHFC Goalkeeper Academy will train the following areas, amongst others:

- Foot work
- Agility
- Handling
- 1v1 Breakaway situations
- Dealing with high balls
- Shot stopping
- Distribution
- Organization
- Set pieces
- Communication
- Decision making

2016/2017 TRAINING SESSION SCHEDULE CAMPUS

U9 -  U11   5:00 - 6:00pm
U12 - U14   6:30 - 7:30pm
U15 - U18 8:00 - 9:00pm  

Monday and Tuesday at Campbell Road
Wednesday and Thursday at Katy Park

2016/2017 TRAINING SESSION SCHEUDLE - CULLEN / CRSP - ECNL and Regional and National GKs only.

U10 - U11    5:00-6:00pm
U12-U14      6:30-7:30pm
U15-U18      8:00-9:00pm

Mon-Thurs @ Cullen park
Tues-Wed @ CRSP

You must bring your ball and gloves to participate in practice.
Goalkeeper evaluations are game based and only cover U12-U18.
